Because of the additional time and
expense involved in catching and maintaining
healthy shad the rates for Striper Trips are a bit higher
than my regular trips
but the thrill of landing a strong fighting striper makes it well worth it.
You can expect to catch several 6 to 16-pound stripers and it's not unusual for everyone
to catch a limit. There's always a chance a much bigger striper will show up too.
Striper Trips are $450 for up to three people,
$500 for four people and $600 for five
people, which is the maximum I
recommend on a Striper Trip.
There
are no additional taxes or charges for
fuel, bait,
tackle,
supplies,
drinking water, snacks or for filleting
your fish.
Please specify that
you want a Striper
Trip when making your
reservation so I'll have fresh, live shad onboard.
Because stripers fight so hard and are often brought up from such deep water
they generally die if released so we usually keep all that we catch.Striper Trips last about 5-hours including time for taking pictures and filleting fish
unless we limit out earlier.Bring a big ice chest for your fillets! Ice is available at the marina store.
